Her treatment plan focuses on education, a client-specific exercise program, and manual therapy to aid in each clients’ rehabilitation process. Carmen believes empowering her clients to be actively involved in their treatment progress is important as it will allow them to gain confidence and a better understanding of their own body. She utilizes an individually tailored exercise program to help clients regain their ability to return to the activities they enjoy and prevent further injuries. As well, Carmen uses Manual Therapy techniques and Electrophysical Modalities to assist in decreasing muscle and joint stiffness.

Carmen loves to treat all injuries and has a growing interest in working with individuals with lower back pain and shoulder injuries. She welcomes clients from different cultural backgrounds, activity levels, and ages. Carmen speaks English and conversational Chinese.

When she isn’t in the clinic, you can find her at her local fitness center working on her strength and mobility or grabbing some ice cream (no matter the weather!). Carmen also enjoys catching sunsets, going for hikes, and trying new restaurants around Calgary.
